Attendees including the Client, Employer and Trade Union representatives from the PJC and Project Safety Team saw the presentation of the NJC Award for Safety in Engineering Construction following a successful submission by the Project. The Award was presented at Lambert House, Hedon on 17th January 2011 by Richard Ash, Chairman of the NJC’s Safety Health & Environment Committee.

The NJC Award for Safety In Engineering Construction recognises outstanding safety management and performance on in-scope NAECI Category 1 Projects and Category 2 Sites. When merited the Award is issued to reflect the combined efforts of the workforce, the contractors and client.
