The South Hook LNG Project receives the NJC Award for Safety in Engineering Construction

The Employer and Trade Union Representatives from the PJC and Project attended the presentation of the NJC Award for Safety following a successful submission by the Project.

The Award was presented at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, on 3rd September 2009, by Richard Ash, Chairman of the NJC’s Health, Safety and Environmental Committee who commended the Project for its high standard of health and safety, taking into consideration that South Hook was a long term site.

The NJC Award for Safety in Engineering Construction recognises outstanding safety management and performance on in-scope NAECI Category 1 and Category 2 Sites. When merited the Award is issued to reflect the combined efforts of the workforce, the contractors and client.
