A One Day NAECI Awareness Course has now been scheduled for Spring 2018. The course is specifically aimed at managers or company procurement staff new to the industry and/or the NAECI.

The free of charge NAECI Awareness Course will be held on Thursday, 12th April 2018 at the NJC Office in London. Please note that this course is open to Signatory Employers’ Association (ECIA, SELECT & TICA) member companies only.

The course will be presented in 2 parts. The morning session will start at 11.00am and conclude with a buffet lunch. The afternoon session will finish at around 2.30pm.

Jock Simpson will conduct the morning session which will cover aspects of the EC Industry including the role of the Clients and contractors and the various industry/contracts practices. He will then discuss the NJC, its organisation and objectives and its national level Adjudication and Arbitration Panels.

Mark Watt will conduct the afternoon session covering an overview of the NAECI, Registration, key terms and conditions, the setting up of new projects and current/future workloads. A course review will close the proceedings.

This industry/NAECI overview course will be beneficial to those new to the industry and the National Agreement or whose knowledge needs updating. With high interest already, places may be limited for this course date and so early booking is recommended.

Please email Karen Thomas at karen.thomas@njceci.org.uk to register your interest, detailing the names, company/union and titles of prospective attendees.
